Answer
The Public Health Agency (PHA) has not in the past run specific awareness campaigns on Blood Pressure or Atrial Fibrillation and there are currently no plans to do so.
However, the PHA invests in a wide range of health improvement programmes targeting risk factors for high blood pressure which is common in people with Atrial Fibrillation. The PHA also continues to work with a range of other partners to promote activities that will encourage healthy lifestyles that contribute to the prevention of high blood pressure.
