Answer
An Elective Care Recovery Initiative (ECRI) - enhanced shift payments for both AfC staff and Medical staff - has been made available to Trusts to deliver targeted, additional, priority elective care activity in line with the objectives of the Elective Care Framework. The new initiative was made available to Trusts at the end of July 2021.
