Answer

Haemochromatosis care in Northern Ireland is co-ordinated by a range of specialists and services across all Health and Social Care Trusts, including hepatology, gastroenterology and haematology.

The service provided to haemochromatosis patients is supported by the ambulatory care service and the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service.

Support, help and advice is also available via a national patient-led charity, Haemochromatosis UK at: https://www.haemochromatosis.org.uk/helpline
