To ask the Minister for Communities whether she will review the Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) legislation, based on the experiences of residents living in areas with high levels of HMOs, such as the Holylands area of South Belfast.

Answer
The Department will undertake an evaluation of the Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) legislation in 2021, 2 years after the commencement of the HMO licensing scheme. The evaluation will examine the impact the policy and legislation has on this area.
