Answer
Three Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) have been established in the Belfast City Council area with support and funding from the Department for Communities; Belfast One in the city centre, Destination CQ in the Cathedral Quarter and Linen Quarter BID. These BIDs are still in the early stages of delivery (Year 2-4) and their success will only be judged once they have completed their 5 year terms and go to re-ballot. Emerging feedback from BID Managers indicates that they are having a positive impact in their areas.
