Answer
The Executive Economics Unit (formerly the Executive Insight and Strategy Unit) is a team within The Executive Office (TEO) Finance People and Planning Group.
It is staffed by economists from the NICS Economist Profession and provides economic briefing, analysis and advice to TEO Ministers, senior officials and policy areas.
It also supports the development of economic appraisals for TEO programmes, projects and policies.
