Answer
The Executive Office (TEO) is delivering regeneration in the Donegall Pass area of the Belfast South constituency through the development of two significant Urban Villages capital projects, the Donegall Pass Good Relations Hub and the redevelopment of the former School of Music.
Since the 2022 Assembly election, TEO has provided a total of £451.8k funding for regeneration activity in the area. This consisted of £256k of capital funding to develop the Donegall Pass Good Relations Hub. The business case for the School of Music is currently being finalised.
In addition, £164k of revenue funding has been invested with the primary focus of building the capacity of those organisations with responsibility of each capital project.
As well as capacity building support, Urban Villages have awarded supporting revenue funds to ensure operational readiness, organisational resilience, and the effective use of these facilities as shared community spaces.
Since 2023 the Community Relations Council an Arms Length Body of The Executive Office has also awarded core funding of £31.8k to Donegall Pass Community Enterprises.
