Answer
I am aware of the issues relating to the availability of wheelchair-accessible transport options, particularly in the evenings. Officials are currently carrying out a number of reviews into services for the disabled community including community transport and the availability of wheelchair accessible taxis. It should be noted that my predecessor John O’Dowd had previously directed Translink to upgrade buses to have space for two wheelchairs instead of one and this work is in progress.
