Answer

We welcome the publication of this report on 21 January. It provides important data on areas that are key to the wellbeing of our population, such as loneliness, levels of life satisfaction, happiness and anxiety, and whether or not people think the things they do are worthwhile.

Our Programme for Government highlights our commitment to working together to improve the wellbeing of everyone living and working here and this data will inform how we can best deliver a real and positive difference to people's lives.

We have committed to reviewing the Programme for Government supported by a published Annual Report. Progress is monitored throughout the year, and our Wellbeing Framework ensures we understand progress not just in pounds and projects, but the real-life impact it has on quality of life. All of the data is drawn from official statistics, published independently, and is available on the Wellbeing Dashboard.
