Answer
The Department of Justice is responsible for the control of fireworks in Northern Ireland. The Trading Standards Service does not have a role in investigating or taking enforcement action against retailers who sell fireworks illegally without the appropriate licence. Any concerns about illegal sale of fireworks should be reported to the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
