To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail any action she is taking to speed up the turnaround in applications for concessionary fares for use of public transport, in particular to mitigate the difficulty caused to members of the public impacted by delays.

I can confirm that officials from my department are continuing to work with Translink to streamline the application process for concessionary fares and to reduce the administrative burden and costs associated with the scheme.
