Answer
We have seen significant changes internationally in the last 10 years since the first International Relations Strategy was published in 2014. An updated strategy is needed that reflects our current situation and is agile in its response to developing challenges and opportunities.
We recognise the importance of our international presence and engagement with strategic partners and are considering how a future strategy could help to deliver the Executive’s priorities.
Our considerations will be based on a significant amount of review work carried out on the existing strategy.
