Answer
Service users accepted onto an ADHD waiting list with an ADHD diagnosis will be placed on a waiting list in chronological order of their referral in line with Integrated Elective Access Process (IEAP) guidelines.
Trusts will assess the assessment process against compliance with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. If the diagnostic assessment complies with NICE the diagnosis will be accepted and ongoing support will be provided. If the assessment does not meet with NICE guidelines an HSC clinician will complete the diagnosis.
