Answer
Rapid Diagnosis Centres (RDCs) seek to provide rapid diagnosis pathways for patients who may have cancer. They currently operate during standard working hours.
Urgent Care Centres will utilise existing diagnostic services in the same way as they are currently accessed via an Emergency Department (ED). The patients will present to urgent care services rather than EDs but will continue to access the required diagnostic service, post triage and assessment, as required.
