Answer
Route considerations are at an advanced stage with the Department seeking to ensure BRT2 provides an accessible and connected Glider service within the core of the city centre.
Shortlisted route options published for public consultation propose operation along Donegall Place and Royal Avenue. However, in taking decisions on the preferred option, consideration will be given to alignment of the route with A Bolder Vision for Belfast and balancing public transport accessibility with the creation of a people-focussed Civic Spine.
