Answer
A regional pathway for recurrent pregnancy loss was issued in 2020. It was developed by the Health and Social Care Board (HSCB) and the Public Health Agency (PHA) working closely with local Trusts, GPs and people with lived experience of pregnancy loss. New draft guidelines on recurrent miscarriage have been published by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and these will be reviewed by the HSCB and PHA. Subject to capacity within Health and Social Care, the local recurrent pregnancy loss pathway is due to be reviewed in 2022 and that review will take account of the finalised RCOG guidelines at that time.
