To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on work to assess the proposal for a pedestrian path from St Ita’s Primary School to Cairnshill Park and Ride.

It is recognised that many parents and carers dropping off pupils at St Ita’s Primary School regularly park in the Park & Ride site. In order to better facilitate this arrangement my officials have earmarked a section of the car park for this purpose and this allows children to walk to school without having to cross any roads. While there are no plans at this time to provide a pedestrian path from St Ita’s Primary School to Cairnshill Park & Ride, I have asked officials to keep this under review.
