Membership of the Project Board to take forward the New Decade New Approach commitment to increase the number of publicly-funded IVF cycles includes representatives from my Department, the Health and Social Care Board, the Public Health Agency, the Belfast Trust and the Regional Fertility Centre.

Progress on this important issue has unfortunately been temporarily delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 response. This is an issue that I have informed officials I expect to see significant movement on once the immediate pressures subside.
